Culture of common exams

http://www.blogger.com/hons2009group@googlegroup.comCulture of common exams
National curriculum statement (GET) states that schools should issue learners report to the parents by the end of the last day of the fourth term. When are schools actual oblige to issue report to parents. This I find confusing especial with regard to every term common exams and stats being monitored by the districts

It says the completed progression scheduled should then be submitted to the district office at the end of the year. When learners qualify for condonation, the school will make a recommendation to the District manager who will grant approval. I am actually buzzeled by common paper and statistics we have to completed about the learner or school performance. The age cohort thing also come to play hence retension squables in school. Minister of education said some thing about reducing the workload ie the administration of learning. Do you collegues beleive in what GET minister Angie Motshekga said?

  1. The major challenge in the Assessment policy is paper work. There is a lot of repetation in the district forms but when it comes to Common Examinations I do not have a problem learners must write them.
